Last Saturday, 27 June 2026, United African Association (UAA) held a fantastic community event with BBQ, free food, music and a football tournament.

The day brought people together in great spirit, despite the hot weather. We had four men’s teams and two mixed men’s and women’s games, with two Pinnacle teams, the Vicky Brothers team and the Police team taking part. Congratulations to one of the Pinnacle teams for winning the trophy and medals!

We were honoured to welcome Deputy Mayor Enam Haque, who joined and supported the community.

A big thank you to Sophia Perveen, Sergeant Rodney Williams, Rachel Packman, and everyone who attended, played, cooked and supported the day.
