On Friday, 26 June 2026, a few members of United African Association (UAA) attended a Congolese Rhumba session with Mind Northampton.

We had a great time, and it was wonderful to feel the drumming, music and positive energy of the group. The session brought people together through rhythm, movement, culture and community spirit.

A big thank you to Mind Northampton and to Francky, who led the session and made everyone feel welcome.

UAA is also looking forward to supporting Mind Northampton’s Together in Our Differences / Celebrating Diversity Day on Wednesday, 8 July 2026, where there will be drumming, Rhumba, cultural activities and community connection.
