On 10 July 2026, the United African Association welcomed a visit from West Northamptonshire Council, who came to explain the support available for asylum seekers whose applications have been successful.

The service can help people who have been granted immigration status with applying for benefits, finding private accommodation and accessing other essential support.

Please note that this service is only available to asylum seekers whose immigration status has been approved.
