Last Saturday, 4 July 2026, the United African Association had the pleasure of collaborating with Naomi Coote from Northants Police at the Young Citizens Summer Safety Fest in Northampton Market Square.

The event formed part of the Summer Safety Campaign, with a strong focus on positive engagement with young people, bringing communities together, and showcasing the great work of local organisations.

UAA had a wonderful time sharing African drumming rhythms and singing on the stage. It was a joyful opportunity to celebrate culture, community spirit, and positive connections with young people and families.

We would like to sincerely thank Naomi Coote and the Northampton Neighbourhood Policing Team for inviting us and for organising such a meaningful community event.
