Last Saturday, 11 July 2026, was another busy and enjoyable day at the United African Association.

FOOD LARDER
We began with our Food Larder, where families can receive a food parcel for only £5. A big thank you to all our dedicated volunteers who helped throughout the session. Your support makes a real difference.

FREE COMMUNITY LUNCH
We then welcomed around 45 people to enjoy a delicious African meal prepared by our amazing volunteers. The lunch brought people together to share food, conversation and friendship.

COMMUNITY WALK
Members of the community also joined our walk around the park, helping everyone to stay active, socialise and improve their wellbeing.

WEEKLY FOOTBALL – 3:00PM
Our football activity took place at the Racecourse, giving young men the opportunity to exercise, build friendships and maintain healthy living habits.

YOUTH CLUB AND BBQ – 4:00PM
We finished the day with our Youth Club, where young people enjoyed a range of games and activities, followed by a BBQ. It was a great opportunity for them to socialise, have fun and build positive relationships in a safe and welcoming environment.
