(02/05/26) It was that Saturday night spirit and feeling at the Community Centre. Great to see everybody especially the esteemed birthday party celebrants, and community luminaries. Some after so-long-no- see. The Mancunians – all the way from up-North. Someone came hot off the airport. With her refreshingly magic smile and zeitgeist (spirit of the moment). Place was fullof the spirit of celebration, sharing and revival.
M., in charge of the sound track, made it easy for the ensemble of the enchanting dancing queens to take to the floor turning it into a runway – with such relish and confidence, winningly creating the mood.
Simply put, we now know what the Namibians are made of. Dancing with finesse and alacrity. Memories, Memories!
