On Saturday 3 October, United African Association (UAA) and BAK UP CIC officially launched the Black Men’s Health Collaborative (BMHC) at Leicester Street Community Centre, Northampton, NN1 3RS.
This new Northamptonshire-wide initiative brings together Black men, community organisations, researchers, health professionals and wider partners to tackle persistent health inequalities and work towards lasting change in the health system.
As a joint partner in this initiative, UAA is proud to help bring our community’s voices and experiences into these conversations. We want Black men to be heard and involved in shaping the services that affect their health and wellbeing.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for the launch. We look forward to working together for better health and fairer access to care. 💚
