Immigration Mapping

Today (10/10/2022), the United African Association has been involved in a meeting aimed at exploring the drivers and detractors of getting good immigration support and advice. We know that certain segments of the population, such as international students, economic migrants with NRPF (no recourse to public funding), asylum seekers and undocumented migrants can struggle and, alongside with other partners – West Northamptonshire Council,

Community Law Service, Central and East Citizen Advice, NorthamptonshireRights and Equality Council, Red Cross, Northampton Community Foundation,
Hope Centre – we would like for the situation in Northampton to improve. We hope that by coming up with a concise document, we can then appeal to the competent authorities to action it in some way or form.

Many thanks to the United African Association representatives: Anne Wankiiri,
Muchie Rwizi and Pedro Duart
