Sharing skills, growing together!

·

Yesterday, 29 September, we had the pleasure of joining Grow Cook Eat at the Hope Centre for a workshop on planning community workshops.

Grow Cook Eat helps communities grow their own food, cook nutritious meals and share practical skills. Their training and guidance have supported UAA’s community allotment and healthy eating activities.

During the session, we explored how partner organisations can share their skills, knowledge and experience with one another.

It was also lovely to see Elaine Goold from Garden Organic, a charity that helps people grow organically. Elaine teaches practical gardening skills to different community groups, encouraging better health and wellbeing through growing and connecting with nature.

Many thanks to Grow Cook Eat, the Hope Centre, Elaine and everyone who took part. We look forward to sharing more ideas and learning together! 💚
